During one of our occasional Soirées, we hit upon the idea of keeping a register of attendees, just to record the events. So here goes:
Thursday 9th March 2006
Present
1st Period 18:15 - Dinner in the Italian Restaurant next to Highbury & Islington Station. Tozer had to enter by the main door, and sign the late book. Nobody queued for seconds, but bottles of Peroni were freely available.
2nd Period 19:30 - Physics: Experiments in practical hydraulics in the White Swan, Upper Street, at Highbury Corner. English: The etymology of ‘Sharpening Stones’ in East Anglia. English Literature: Highbury County Revisited. Chemistry: Polly’s Assistant. Geography: Tales of the Englishman, Scotsman, and Irishman. Drama: Mrs. Hurst’s acting career. Music: Gay folk songs of Northern Ireland.

Present
1st Period 18:05 - Dinner in the Italian Restaurant, and, as before, bottles of Peroni were freely available. Those attending were exempt from paying soap money.
2nd Period 19:20 - Practical Hydraulics, Anatomy, Philosophy, P.E. (theory), Sociology (bullying).
